Arranging a cleaner here is harder than it should be

Most Dutch cleaning companies quote in Dutch, answer the phone in Dutch and send an invoice full of terms you have to translate before you can check it. If you have moved here recently that is not a small friction, it is the reason the job keeps getting postponed. We handle the whole thing in English, from the first message to the final invoice.

Send a message with the rooms, roughly the size, and photos if anything needs particular attention. Photographs get you an accurate price rather than a wide range.

Within two hours in working hours. It says what is included and what is not, so there is nothing to discover afterwards.

With our own equipment and products. For recurring work we keep the same cleaner on your address wherever the schedule allows.

Pay after, by invoice

Bank transfer or card. No deposit for standard home cleaning, and nothing to sign for a one-off job.

Questions we get asked

Do I need to speak Dutch?
No. Quotes, scheduling, invoices and any question afterwards are all handled in English. Your cleaner may speak limited English, which is why anything that needs explaining goes through us in writing beforehand.
How much does it cost?
It depends on size and how much work the property needs, so we quote per job rather than publish an hourly rate. You get a fixed figure by email before anything is booked, and it does not change unless you change the job.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole country. We are busiest in the Randstad and the larger cities, and for smaller towns we group work onto set days, so you may be offered a choice of two or three dates rather than any day you like.
Do I have to be home?
No. Many clients leave a key or a code. Put any instructions in writing the first time, particularly about rooms we should not enter or items we should not move.
Do you bring your own products?
Yes, for deep cleans, end of tenancy and all upholstery work. For regular weekly cleaning most clients prefer we use what is already in the house, and we will tell you if something is not suitable.
Can I get the same cleaner every time?
That is what we aim for and what makes recurring cleaning worth having. Holidays and illness happen, and when they do we tell you in advance rather than sending somebody unannounced.
