Everything you need to know

How do you clean the wood in a sauna?
With a damp cloth or soft brush and a product made for sauna wood, once the sauna is off and cooled down. We never hose the wood down and leave it to dry afterwards with the door open, so it does not warp or grow mould.
Do you also maintain saunas, steam generators or pool water?
No. Technical maintenance of heaters, steam installations, pumps and filters and the treatment of pool water belong to your own technical contractor. We clean the rooms and report anything we notice.
Do wet floors not become slippery from cleaning?
Not when it is done properly. In wet zones we use products without shine agents, brush anti-slip tiles right into the texture and rinse with clean water, so no layer of soap or oil is left behind.
Do you also clean treatment cabins in beauty salons and spas?
Yes. The outside of tables, worktops, basins, showers and floors with oil or mask residue. Equipment for skin or facial treatments is cleaned by your own team following the supplier’s guidelines.
When do you come to clean?
Outside opening hours, after closing or early in the morning, with a regular cleaner. A big clean of grout, floors and sauna wood we prefer to plan during a closing week or a quiet period.
