Terms and Conditions

By requesting any service from Claro Clean, you accept these Terms and Conditions. They apply to all our professional cleaning services in the Netherlands.

1. Description of Services

Claro Clean provides professional cleaning services to individuals and businesses. The detailed description, scope, and specific conditions of each service will be stated in the corresponding quote.

Services are provided under two pricing models:

  • Fixed price: Services with a defined scope and agreed-upon flat rate specified in the quote.
  • Hourly rate: Services billed by time spent, with a minimum of 2 hours per visit.

The applicable pricing model will be clearly indicated in the quote before any service begins.

2. Quotes and Acceptance

All quotes are free and non-binding. Each quote will include: service description, pricing model, estimated or fixed price, and expected timeline.

Quote acceptance can be communicated in writing (email or WhatsApp). Such acceptance implies agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue, unless otherwise stated.

3. Bookings, Changes, and Cancellations

Bookings are made through our web form, email, or WhatsApp. Once an appointment is confirmed:

  • Cancellation is free with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: a charge equivalent to 1 hour of service will apply for hourly services, or €20 for specialized fixed-price services.
  • Date or time changes are subject to availability and should be communicated as early as possible.

4. Access to the Property

The client must ensure timely access to the property or service location by providing keys, access codes, or being personally present as agreed. If the team cannot access the location within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, it will be considered a missed appointment and the late cancellation charge will apply.

5. Pricing and Billing

Fixed-price services

The price agreed in the quote is final, unless unforeseen circumstances are discovered during execution that require additional work. In such cases, the client will be informed before proceeding and a supplement will be agreed upon.

Hourly services

A minimum of 2 hours per visit applies. Time is billed in 30-minute increments. If the service requires more time than estimated, the client will be informed before continuing. If completed ahead of schedule, only the time spent will be billed (respecting the 2-hour minimum).

6. Payment Methods

Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless a prior deposit is required. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, iDEAL, and online payment gateway.

For urgent bookings (less than 24 hours notice), a 50% deposit of the estimated amount may be required, payable within 2 hours of confirmation.

An invoice will be sent by email after each service.

7. Materials and Equipment

Claro Clean will provide the professional cleaning products needed for the service. For general cleaning services, the client should have a vacuum cleaner and mop available on the premises, unless otherwise agreed.

For specialized services, Claro Clean will provide the necessary technical equipment at no additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the quote.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the result, you have 48 hours after the service completion to submit your complaint by email to info@claroclean.nl or via WhatsApp, including photographs where possible.

Claro Clean will evaluate each case and may offer: partial or full re-cleaning, a discount on the invoiced amount, or a partial or full refund.

Claims will not be accepted if the client booked less time or a smaller scope than recommended by our team in the quote.

9. Damages, Valuables, and Safety

Our professionals work with the utmost care. However:

  • We recommend removing or securing fragile, sentimental, or decorative items before the service.
  • Items valued above €400 or sensitive electronic equipment must be flagged in advance in writing.
  • Items over 25 kg will not be moved, and work above 2.5 meters height will not be performed without adequate safety measures.
  • Biological waste, pest infestations, and hazardous materials will not be handled.

10. Liability

Claro Clean is liable for direct damages caused by demonstrable negligence of its professionals during service execution. Any incident must be reported within 24 hours.

Claro Clean is not liable for pre-existing damage, natural wear of surfaces, or damage caused by hidden defects in the client's materials or installations.

11. Pets

If there are pets on the premises, the client must ensure they do not pose a risk to our team. Claro Clean is not responsible for escapes, damage, or incidents related to pets during the service.

12. Recurring Services

Clients with recurring services may benefit from reduced rates. These rates are maintained as long as the agreed frequency is kept.

  • Pauses exceeding 30 days may result in a review of the applicable rate.
  • Cancellation of recurring services must be communicated at least 7 days before the next scheduled appointment.

13. Travel and Parking

Travel within the main service area (Nederland) carries no additional cost. For services outside this radius, a travel surcharge may apply and will be indicated in advance in the quote.

If no free accessible parking is available, parking costs will be borne by the client, with prior notice.

14. Data Protection

Personal data is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Claro Clean complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch data protection legislation.

15. Modifications to Terms

Claro Clean reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page and will apply to services booked after their publication.

16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. For any dispute, both parties submit to the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory legislation establishes another jurisdiction.
