Why does my gutter keep blocking?
Usually because moss grows on the roof edge and washes in with every shower. Clearing the gutter without addressing the edge solves it for one season and then you are back where you started.
Do you take the moss off the whole roof?
No, only what we can reach at the edge from the ladder. The roof surface itself needs somebody up there, and that is work for a roofer with the right insurance.
Where does the removed moss go?
Into bags and into the van. We do not rinse it into the gutter or throw it in the garden, because in both cases it is simply back within a few months.
