Can I paint the ceiling afterwards?
You can, but only once the surface is completely dry. Painting over mould is a common mistake: the patches come back through the new coat. We do not paint ourselves, but we will let you know when the surface is ready for the decorator.
Does the extractor fan help against ceiling mould?
An extractor that pulls well helps carry steam away, and a dirty grille pulls less. We clean the grille on the outside. Whether the system itself works properly or needs replacing is not something we judge. For that you need an installer.
What if the ceiling stain is brown rather than black?
A brown or yellow ring often points to a leak from above rather than ordinary condensation. We can clean the surface, but the stain returns as long as the leak is there. Send a video and we will tell you honestly whether you should call someone about the leak first.
