What do I do with soft toys and toys that were against the wall?
Hard items can be wiped and left to dry. Soft toys can often go in the wash. Cardboard and paper with marks are better thrown away. We clean the wall and the furniture, not the toys.
Can the furniture go straight back against the wall?
We put it back, with a small gap if it fits. Furniture tight against a cold outside wall makes a return more likely. That is general advice and no guarantee, particularly if the wall stays damp for structural reasons.
