Can a seat belt get wet?
A little surface moisture is fine, soaking is not. The webbing has to be completely dry before it disappears into the retractor. Otherwise moisture stays in the roll and the belt smells musty within a few days.
Does foundation come off the belt?
Fresh make-up usually comes off well. Older marks at shoulder height are greasier and have sometimes tinted the webbing. We get them as clean as possible, but we do not promise to remove years of discolouration entirely.
Do you use bleach on seat belts?
No, never. Bleach and strong solvents can weaken the fibres of a belt, and a belt has to keep its strength. So we only work with mild products that leave the material unharmed.
