Can water go on a velvet seat?
In small amounts, depending on the label. Some velvet may only be treated dry or with a solvent. That is why we read the label first and test on a spot you do not see.
How do I keep velvet looking good between treatments?
Brush the seats now and then with a soft clothes brush in one direction and vacuum them with a brush nozzle. If something gets on it, blot dry and do not rub, because rubbing twists the pile for good.
