Can any mould product be used on marble?
No. Many shop products are acidic or strongly alkaline, and marble and limestone react to that with dull or rough patches. That damage sits in the stone itself and cannot be repaired by cleaning.
How do I know whether my stone is acid-sensitive?
Marble, travertine and most limestone are, granite and slate usually are not. If you are unsure, film the stone up close and tell us what you know about it. When in doubt we always choose the mildest product.
Will marks stay in the grout between natural stone?
Sometimes, because that grout is just as porous as with ordinary tiles. We remove surface mould, a deep discolouration can remain. We do not use bleach there, because it can affect the stone next to it.
