How long should I wait before painting?

Which paint is best after mould?
A paint intended for bathrooms and other humid rooms is usually a better choice than ordinary wall paint. Ask about it at a paint shop. Paint alone does not stop the mould returning if the room stays humid, so combine it with good ventilation.
Can I simply paint over the mould?
No, we strongly advise against it. The mould stays under the paint and often comes through the new layer before long, sometimes with blistering. Remove first, let it dry and only then paint, that is the order that works.
