Why is there always sand by the door?
Because customers wheel the bike inside after a test ride and the tyres bring everything with them. A barrier mat wide enough for a bike catches a lot, and we give that zone extra attention every visit.
Do you move the bikes to get underneath?
No, we do not lift or wheel bikes away, since that belongs to the display and you do not want a scratch. We vacuum between the rows with a narrow nozzle. For a thorough floor clean, your team moves the bikes aside for a moment.
