Because dirt travels on feet. Mop the shop first and do the stockroom afterwards, and you walk dust and grit back over a clean floor. Back to front prevents that without adding time.
Can you get black pallet truck marks off?
Usually yes, with a product that does not harm the floor and a pad that does not scratch. Marks that have sat in a porous floor for a long time get lighter but not always invisible, and we say so beforehand.
What if a pallet is in the way?
We leave it: we do not move goods with a pallet truck. We clean the free floor around it and pick up that spot on the next visit if it is clear by then.
