Can I not just wash the linen cover of my armchair?
Only if the label allows it and the cover is pre-shrunk. Many linen covers shrink in the machine just enough that they no longer fit the chair. If in doubt, leave the cover on and let us clean it on the armchair.
Will yellowed or grey linen become light again?
Greyness from dirt and skin oil gets clearly lighter. Yellowing from sunlight or age is a change in the fibre itself, and no cleaning brings that back. From a video we can usually judge how much of the colour is dirt.
Does linen crease after cleaning?
A little, because linen naturally creases once it has been damp. We smooth the panels by hand while they are still slightly damp. The rest usually settles as it dries and once you start sitting in it again.
