My cover shrank in the wash, can you undo that?
A little give sometimes returns when the fabric is stretched slightly damp on the armchair and dries that way. Real shrinkage of cotton or linen is not reversed by cleaning. We do clean the cover as it fits now.
Why do my cover and cushions differ in colour?
Because they were washed separately, or because the cushions have had more light or use. Treating everything evenly in one go stops the difference growing. A difference caused by sun or earlier washing does not disappear.
Should I take the cover off before the appointment?
No, just leave it on. Even if it can come off, we prefer to work on the armchair, because it keeps its shape. Only clear away loose items, throws and other cushions, so we can get started straight away.
