There is a pulled loop in my chenille armchair, what now?
Do not cut it and do not pull it. A loop you snip off leaves a small hole in the pattern. During cleaning we leave pulled loops alone and work around them so it does not get worse. Repairing the fabric is not part of cleaning.
Why does chenille sometimes feel stiff after cleaning?
Because product residue stays in the fibres or the tufts have dried flat. That is why we rinse with a little clean water and fluff the fabric up while it dries, so the softness comes back.
Can I use a lint roller on chenille?
Preferably not often. The sticky layer takes a little fibre with every roll and makes the fabric bald over time. Vacuuming with a smooth nozzle on a low setting removes crumbs and hair without damaging the loops.
