What should I do straight away if I spill coffee?
Blot up the liquid with a dry, white cloth and press, but do not rub. Do not pour hot water or soap on it. The less you spread the stain, the smaller the edge we will need to work away later.
Will an old coffee stain still come out?
A fresh stain usually lifts completely. A stain that has sat in the fabric for months may have discoloured the fibre for good, and then a faint shadow stays. We can judge that better once we see the stain on the video.
Why did the stain come back after I cleaned it off myself?
That is called wicking: the dirt sat deeper in the filling and was pulled back up as it dried. We draw the moisture out from deep down with the extractor, so there is nothing left to rise to the surface.
