Armchair cleaning in Helmond

In a family with young children the armchair in Helmond is not just a seat but also a climbing frame, a picnic blanket and a hiding place. Armchair cleaning then means chocolate, squash, sticky fingers, a bit of felt tip and breadstick crumbs pushed deep into the seams.

What is included

  • Chocolate and other greasy sweet residue dissolved first
  • Squash and juice stains treated separately for their colouring
  • Sticky fingerprints on armrests and front removed
  • Crumbs and small toys vacuumed out of the deep seams
  • Products that are safe for small children climbing back on

How we do it

Chocolate is fat plus sugar plus colour, so we work in steps: loosen the fat first, dissolve the sugar with lukewarm water, and only then treat the brown colour. Felt tip and marker are tested separately, because each kind of ink reacts differently. Finally we rinse well, so nothing sticky is left to attract new stains.

What you get

Our specialists are trained, insured and vetted and work with eco-friendly products suited to a home with small children and pets. They bring their own equipment. After the treatment you can raise it within 48 hours if a spot is not as it should be.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can the children use the chair straight after the treatment?
As soon as the fabric is dry, yes. The products are safe for children. Keep them off the chair while it dries, because damp fabric picks up dirt from hands and shoes extra quickly.
Does felt tip come out too?
That depends on the pen and the fabric. Waterproof and permanent markers are difficult, washable children’s felt tips usually lift well. Put the marker spot in the video and tell us which kind it was, and we will say honestly what to expect.
Isn’t it pointless while the children are small?
Not if you would otherwise leave the dirt, because sugar and grease keep sinking deeper and get harder to shift. A clean keeps the chair healthy, and a washable throw for the daily picnic makes the next time easier.
