Will denim dye come off a cream bouclé armchair?
Fresh transfer marks from jeans usually get much lighter. Blue that has been in the loops for a long time has sometimes truly set in the fibre, and then a trace remains. From a close-up video we can judge how deep it goes.
Why does my bouclé armchair look fuzzy?
Friction, from sitting or from cleaning, opens the curls. That is wear of the fibre, not dirt. A clean makes the fabric cleaner and fresher, but curls that have opened do not twist shut again by themselves.
How do I keep bouclé clean in between?
Vacuum it weekly on a low setting with a soft nozzle, without scrubbing the fabric. Blot spills straight away with a dry white cloth. And on a light colour, put a throw where you sit in dark trousers.
