Will my shower screen be completely clear again?
Limescale comes off. Scale that has etched into the glass over years does not: that is etching in the surface. It gets clearly better and a faint haze remains, and we say so beforehand.
Will the marks in my worktop go?
Marks sitting on the surface yes. Discolouration in the material no, and on older laminate worktops that is common. A test patch shows within five minutes which of the two it is.
Is cleaning still worthwhile then?
For the dirt yes, for the rest no. Where sanitaryware is permanently discoloured we sometimes advise replacing it; that is more honest than paying every year for a result that no longer changes.
