Why is there a shadow above my doors?
That is the underfloor heating pattern: rising warm air deposits dust where it meets an obstacle, which is the top of the wall. With radiators you see the same above the radiator.
Does the underfloor heating have to be off?
Turned down is enough, a few hours before we come. On a warm floor a product dries before you can lift it, leaving streaks you do not get on a cool floor.
Can water go on a floor with underfloor heating?
Yes, provided it is limited and lifted straight away. The floor itself is unaffected; the problem is the fast drying. So we work in smaller sections than we otherwise would.
