Where do I find the label on my armchair?
Usually under the loose seat cushion, on the underside of the frame or in a seam at the back. It is often a small white tag with a letter and a few symbols. If it is easier to tip the chair on its side, look at the bottom near the legs.
Why do I get rings when I clean microfibre with water?
Microfibre is so fine and densely woven that water draws dissolved dirt and soap residue to the edge of the wet patch. That edge dries as a line. A product that matches the code and treating the whole panel evenly prevent it.
My armchair has code X, can you still do anything?
An X means the manufacturer only allows vacuuming or brushing. We can then give the armchair a thorough dry clean and treat individual marks carefully, but we do not do a wet deep clean. We tell you that upfront with the quote.
