Armchair cleaning in Zoetermeer

Cleaning an armchair in Zoetermeer that is used all day, such as the regular chair of an older family member, needs good planning. That chair is not just furniture but the place where someone reads, eats and watches television, so it should be out of use as briefly as possible.

What is included

  • An appointment early in the day, so the chair is usable by evening
  • Seat and armrests, where a regular user leaves the most behind
  • Crumbs and remnants out of the gaps around the seat cushion
  • Limited moisture to keep the drying time short
  • A riser or recliner mechanism kept dry

How we do it

We book as early as possible and use as little moisture as the fabric allows. Before starting we set up another chair together, somewhere the user sits comfortably and can still see the television or window. On a riser chair we set it in the position that best keeps the mechanism out of harm’s way.

What you get

A patient, trained, insured and vetted specialist comes over and calmly explains what he is doing, even to someone unused to visitors in the house. He brings everything and uses eco-friendly products that leave no strong smell.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can I arrange the appointment for my father or mother?
Yes. You make the request yourself and receive the quote and confirmation by email. Tell us who will be home at the appointment, so the specialist knows who to expect and can introduce himself.
Where does the user sit while the chair dries?
Set out another sturdy chair with armrests, so getting up stays easy. We help put it in a good spot before we start, and move it away again once the armchair is dry.
What if there are urine or food stains in the chair?
We treat those with a dedicated product that also tackles the smell. If the liquid has soaked deep into the filling, we say honestly beforehand what is achievable. Film those patches from very close, so we can judge that before the appointment.
