No. We only clean the upholstery. If the motor misbehaves or a hinge creaks, that is work for your supplier or a technician. We deliberately leave the inner workings alone, so there is never any doubt about what caused a fault.
Does the chair need to be in a certain position?
Half reclined is best, because then we can reach the folds between back and seat. Set it to that position yourself before we arrive or while we are there, then the plug stays out until the fabric is dry.
Can I use the chair straight away?
Wait until the fabric feels dry before you plug it back in and let the chair move. A damp fold that closes up dries badly. The specialist tells you how things stand before they leave.
