Why is the front edge of my seat dark?
Because your legs keep resting against it, often in the same clothes. Cotton and denim shed colour and skin leaves grease. That edge therefore needs its own treatment, not the same as the rest of the seat.
Should I turn the seat cushion after cleaning?
It helps. Flip the cushion every few weeks and rotate it front to back as well, then it wears and soils more evenly and the chair stays a uniform colour for longer.
Will a ring be left around the head spot?
That is why we feather out the edges of every treated area. A water ring forms when you only wet a stain and let it dry. We deliberately avoid making that mistake.
