Sometimes, but not always. Dye is made to bind to fibres, and a stain that has already dried often stays visible. We test it first and then tell you honestly whether it will go or only get lighter.
Why does the headrest get dirty so fast in a salon?
Because clients sometimes lean back with freshly treated hair or product on their skin. That oil soaks in fast. A cloth or cover over the headrest largely stops it between cleans.
