Will an old chair still smell of the attic after cleaning?
A musty smell in the fabric usually drops a lot. If the odour is in an old horsehair or straw filling, some may remain. We say so honestly once we have seen the chair.
Is it wiser to clean an heirloom first or have it reupholstered straight away?
