Can I use vinegar or soda on my mattress?
Better not. The risk is putting too much moisture into the filling and leaving residue that later causes a ring or smell. Blot a fresh stain dry instead and get in touch with us.
Why is there now a brown ring around the stain?
That is a drying ring. Dirt from the filling travels with the water to the edge of the wet patch and stays there as it dries. With targeted cleaning and extraction such a ring usually becomes clearly fainter.
Why does it work for you and not for me?
Mostly the equipment. We apply little moisture and pick it straight back up, along with the dirt. A cloth and a bucket leave the loosened dirt behind in the mattress instead.
