Will an old stain come out completely?
We cannot promise that. Old stains usually fade clearly, but a stain that has sat in the fibre for years sometimes leaves a shadow. We tell you in advance what you can reasonably expect.
Why no hot water on a bloodstain?
Because blood contains a protein that sets with heat and then binds to the fibre. Cold water with an enzyme product breaks it down before it can take hold.
What can I do about a fresh stain?
Blot up as much as you can with a dry cloth, without rubbing, and avoid hot water or strong products. Then leave it alone until we arrive, which gives a treatment the best chance.
