An attic room with a sloping ceiling and a roof window is the hardest room in the house on a deep clean. You cannot stand upright, the roof window has never been done on the inside, and behind the knee wall is a space nobody has entered in years.

Can the roof window open fully?
On most centre-pivot windows yes: you rotate it through and can reach the outside. Open it before we arrive if the hinge allows, because we then also do the part that changes the light.
What is behind the knee wall?
Usually storage and sometimes loose insulation. We only do it where you open the hatch and ask, because working in somebody’s storage uninvited is not ours to do.
Why does an attic room take longer?
Because you cannot work upright and the sloping ceiling has more surface than a straight wall in the same room. Everything happens kneeling with short poles, and that is simply slower.
