Can a cloth go over my books?
No. Moisture on paper and on a binding causes permanent damage. We vacuum along the top edge with a soft nozzle, which lifts the dust without the book noticing.
Will you take my collection out of the cabinet?
Not ourselves. If you take the pieces out we do the cabinet inside; otherwise only the outside. Lifting somebody else’s collection is a risk we do not take.
Do I have to empty every shelf?
That is the choice between complete and quick. Empty shelves come fully clean, full shelves only at the front. Many people do one unit per visit, and in practice that works best.
