What if there is no water yet on cleaning day?
Then we cannot degrease or descale and we move the appointment by agreement. So open the stopcock straight after the key handover and run one tap briefly; you know at once rather than when we are at the door.
Does the energy contract have to be in my name already?
For us it makes no difference whose name it is in, as long as there is power and water. For you it is smart to arrange it around the key handover, because without power the fridge we have just cleaned will not run either.
Do you need light in every room?
Preferably, because in the dark you see no streaks or dust. If the previous occupant took the lights, no problem: we bring our own, so every corner is clearly visible while we work.
