Car upholstery cleaning in Haarlemmermeer

Smoke is the hardest job in car upholstery cleaning in Haarlemmermeer, because smoke does not sit in one place. Tar and nicotine lie as a thin yellow film on every surface in the cabin, from the inside of the windows to the belts and the foam of the seats.

What is included

  • The inside of the windows cleared of the yellow smoke film
  • Seats and rear bench extracted into the upper layer of filling
  • Seat belts pulled out to full length and cleaned
  • Ashtray, cup holders and air vents cleaned separately
  • An honest view up front on how much of the smell we expect to remove

How we do it

We start with the hard surfaces and the windows, because otherwise that film releases odour onto clean fabric as it dries. Only then do the seats, the floor and the belts get done, and finally we open the car up so the moisture can leave completely.

What you get

With smoke we never promise the smell will disappear completely, because what has soaked into foam and headlining over years cannot always be fully removed. Our trained and insured professionals tell you honestly what is achievable after a first inspection.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Will one visit clear years of smoking?
Often a large part of it, not always all. After years of smoking there is nicotine in the foam and the headlining, and that smell can come back faintly on warm days. We would rather say so now than have you notice it yourself a week later.
Why are the windows done as well?
Because the smoke film on the inside of the glass gives off odour itself and clouds your view against the light. Leave it and a clean seat smells of the glass beside it again the next day.
Should the cabin filter be replaced after years of smoking?
That is sensible, and it is a job for the garage. A full filter blows a little stale smoke back into the cabin on every drive, even when the upholstery has just been cleaned.
