Does the workshop need tidying before you come?
Bikes under repair and tools can stay put. A clear walkway and an empty strip of floor along the walls do help, because where nothing stands we can work thoroughly without moving anything of yours.
Why do black streaks keep appearing in the showroom?
That is rubber from tyres and grease from shoe soles coming out of the workshop. A barrier mat at the crossing between the two areas catches a good share of it, and we give that crossing zone extra attention every visit.
