Car upholstery cleaning in Amstelveen

The headlining is the riskiest part of a car interior. The fabric is glued to a foam board, and too much moisture releases that glue; the lining then sags and only replacement fixes it.

What is included

  • Minimal moisture on the headlining
  • Marks tackled locally, with a dry edge
  • Never soaked or brushed on the roof
  • Smoke residue and nicotine assessed separately
  • Advice on when replacement is wiser

How we do it

We treat the headlining with a barely damp cloth and feather the edge dry so no ring forms. Soaking or brushing releases the glue, and a sagging lining is no longer a cleaning problem.

What you get

Our people are insured and vetted and say when a headlining is already loose. Treating something already lifting speeds it up, and you want to hear that before we start rather than after.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can the headlining be cleaned?
With minimal moisture and no brushing, yes. The fabric is glued to a foam board, and too much water releases that glue; the lining sags and only replacement helps.
Does nicotine come off the headlining?
Largely, and it takes patience rather than force. Nicotine is greasy and bonds into the fibre; several light passes work better than one wet treatment.
What if the lining is already sagging?
Then it is no longer cleaning work. We say so before starting, because treating something already lifting speeds it up and that is not what you want from us.
