Why does my soft carpet look felted in the walkways?
Polyester springs back poorly. Walking twists the fibres together into a felted layer. Brushing after cleaning improves it, but heavily crushed paths rarely regain their original look in full.
Is polyester easy to get clean?
Colour stains often go well, because the fibre takes up dye poorly. Greasy dirt clings strongly, though, and needs a pre-treatment. Old stains we do not promise to remove completely.
How do I keep a polyester carpet looking good for longer?
Vacuum against the pile regularly and move a runner or piece of furniture now and then, so the same strip is not always loaded. That slows down matting and flattening.
