Carpet cleaning in Leiden

Carpet cleaning in Leiden for a carpeted stairwell in a commercial building or block of flats is work nobody takes on, because it belongs to everyone. The carpet on the stairs and landings is walked on by every resident or employee, so it looks more worn sooner than it really is.

What is included

  • Every step cleaned individually, including the nosing and the back corner
  • Landings and half-landings between the floors
  • Carpet along the banister and the wall where the vacuum does not reach
  • Pre-treatment of marks on the bottom steps by the front door
  • A walkway on each floor so the stairwell stays usable

How we do it

In a shared stairwell we work from the top down and keep one side of the stairs dry, so people can carefully pass. A compact hand machine is needed here, because a large machine does not fit on a step. The bottom steps come last, since that is where most of the dirt from outside comes in.

What you get

For an owners’ association or a building manager it helps to have everything in writing. You get the appointment and the quote by email, so you can forward them to the other owners or tenants. Our professionals are insured and vetted and use eco-friendly products that are safe for children and pets.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can residents keep using the stairwell?
Yes, we always keep a dry strip free and put a note up at the entrance. Anyone who needs to go up can pass, although we ask people to tread gently for the first hours afterwards.
Who should place the order in a shared building?
Usually the owners’ association, the managing agent or the owner of the building. We need one point of contact for the appointment and the invoice. You can present the quote at your own pace before agreeing.
How often should a shared stairwell be done?
That depends on how many people use the stairs each day. A busy stairwell gains more from a fixed clean than from a big treatment once the steps are already grey, and we can agree that together.
