Do you unhook the slats to wash them?
No, we clean them hanging. Taking them down and rehanging them costs more time than it gains and risks broken hooks. Only a slat already hanging loose or damaged comes out, and we let you know.
What do you do with curtain hooks left in the track?
We take them out of the track and gather them on the windowsill. If the curtains go with you to your new home you will probably need them, and otherwise the next occupant can use them.
