Does cured sealant still come off?
From glass and ceramic usually completely, from matt tiles and natural stone often not entirely. Silicone draws into a porous surface and leaves a faintly shiny patch.
Do you cut out sealant joints?
No, unless a joint is loose or mouldy and you ask us to. Cutting out a sound joint means resealing, and that is work for the builder rather than the cleaner.
What if sealant has been smeared over the tile?
We assess per area what is achievable and say beforehand what is likely to stay visible. On a matt tile a smeared silicone can rarely be removed entirely.
