How do I recognise linen?
Linen feels dry and cool, often has an irregular thread with small slubs and creases quickly. It is a lovely fabric but sensitive to water, so we use little moisture on it and always test first.
Is chenille difficult to clean?
Chenille has a pile of small loops that can flatten or change direction. With the right brush and light pressure it goes well. We brush the pile in one direction afterwards, so the fabric looks even.
What if my fabric is a blend?
Most upholstery is a blend. We then allow for the most delicate fibre in it. The label usually gives the composition in percentages, and we check it with you before we begin.
