Why can’t spray go straight onto perforated leather?
Because the mist runs into the holes and stays there. Beneath the leather is foam and sometimes a fan or heating mat, and neither benefits from moisture. Applying it to the brush keeps the product on the surface.
What does conditioning leather mean?
A cleaner also removes some of the leather’s natural oils. Conditioning restores that suppleness with a cream that soaks in, so the leather does not stiffen and is slower to crease or crack.
Will I see white dots in the holes after treatment?
Not if it is done properly. Those dots are dried cream that stayed standing in the perforation. We work in a thin layer and wipe any excess away at once with a clean cloth.
