Car upholstery cleaning in Amersfoort

Anyone having their car upholstery cleaned in Amersfoort mainly wants to know when the car is usable again. Driving is usually fine straight away, but sitting on a damp seat in light clothing, or leaving a bag on it, is another matter.

What is included

  • Extraction that pulls as much water as possible straight back out
  • Doors open while we work, so moisture can escape at once
  • An honest estimate afterwards of the drying time for your fabric
  • Advice on cracked-open windows and ventilation for the first drive
  • Leather and faux leather parts ready immediately after a dry wipe

How we do it

We set the drying time while we work: less moisture in, more moisture straight back out. Thick velour dries more slowly than thin fabric, and a seat base dries more slowly than a backrest. At the end we feel each seat and tell you which one needs the longest.

What you get

A trained, insured and vetted cleaner comes to you with their own equipment and eco-friendly products, at home or at work. The car then dries where it was parked anyway. If something is not right within 48 hours, a ring after drying for instance, we come back.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can I drive off right after the clean?
Yes. The seats are damp rather than wet, and driving with the ventilation on actually helps them dry. Just keep things off the seat bases and avoid sitting down in light or delicate clothing until the fabric feels dry.
Why does one seat dry faster than another?
Because a seat base is thicker and lies flat, while a backrest stands upright and gets air on both sides. The fabric matters too: velour holds moisture longer than a thin woven cloth.
What should I do in the first hours afterwards?
Leave the windows slightly open if the car is parked safely, or run the ventilation while driving. Do not shut the car up tight in a cold garage, because the moisture lingers there and drying takes needlessly long.
