Car upholstery cleaning in Zeist

Alcantara and suede look like fabric but behave like leather with a pile. They tolerate almost no moisture, they mat together when wet, and they develop shiny patches on the seat that cleaning does not remove.

What is included

  • Worked dry or virtually dry on alcantara
  • The pile brushed back up afterwards
  • Shiny patches on seat and bolster assessed
  • No protector that hardens the pile
  • A test patch on an inconspicuous part

How we do it

On alcantara we introduce minimal moisture and brush the pile back afterwards. Getting wet mats the fibres into a smooth, shiny surface, and that is a change in the material rather than dirt.

What you get

Our people are insured and vetted and say when a shiny patch is too far gone. Shine on alcantara comes from crushed fibres, and where they have worn away the pile does not return.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can alcantara get wet?
As little as possible. Getting wet mats the fibres into a smooth surface, partly recoverable by brushing and, after it happens repeatedly, not at all.
Do shiny patches come out of alcantara?
Where the pile is only crushed, yes, with steam and brushing. Where the fibre has worn away the patch keeps shining; that is wear and no treatment brings it back.
Can alcantara be protected?
Only with a product made for it. An ordinary protector spray hardens the pile and the material then feels rough, which is exactly what you do not want on alcantara.
