What should staff take off their chair?
Everything not attached to it: coats, bags, scarves, loose seat cushions and lumbar supports. Do not leave cables or chargers hanging over the armrest either. The emptier the chair, the sooner we can start.
Can you include a loose lumbar cushion?
If it is an upholstered cushion, usually yes. Mention it in your request and show it in the video, so we know whether it has a label and whether the fabric tolerates water. Memory-foam cushions without a cover we treat more cautiously.
What happens to a chair that has not been cleared?
We skip it at first and ask someone from your side to clear it. We do not move personal belongings, so there is never any discussion about a bag or coat that ended up somewhere other than where it was.
