Why do you want to see the pen?
The pen says whether it is washable, water-based or permanent. That decides whether we start with water or a solvent, and so how likely it is that everything disappears. It saves us experimenting on your sofa.
Does permanent marker really come out?
Often largely, but not always completely. On some fabrics a faint ghost of the line remains, especially when the marker has been there a long time. After a test on the drawing itself we tell you what to expect.
Do the children need to stay off the sofa on cleaning day?
Until it is dry, yes, because damp fabric picks up new dirt and colour faster. The product is safe, so this is about the result rather than toxicity. Ideally plan the treatment for a time the sofa is not needed.
