Does the sofa really have to come off the wall?
For a complete result, yes. Left in place we cannot do the back and side, and that is exactly where moisture and dust collect because no air ever reaches them.
When can it go back?
Once it is dry, usually after three to six hours. Pushing it straight back against a cold wall traps the residual moisture, and that is the most common cause of odour after a treatment.
What do you expect from me?
Loose items on and around the sofa: cushions that do not belong, a throw, the side table. Moving the sofa itself is ours to do and you need not lift a finger for it.
