Why does water leave a mark on microfibre?
Because the fibre takes up moisture unevenly and the edge of the wet patch stays visible. Always treat the whole panel up to the seam rather than just the mark.
Does microfibre come back even?
Yes, provided the whole panel is done and the pile is brushed back afterwards. With the pile in two directions the piece looks like it has two colours.
Can I remove a mark myself?
Only by taking in the whole panel. Most permanent edges on microfibre come from somebody touching exactly the stain with a damp cloth and leaving the rest dry.
