Are baby wipes safe on leather?
No, and they are the commonest cause of damage. They contain substances that attack the finish, and you only notice after a year when the layer starts lifting.
Why does cream have to go on after cleaning?
Because cleaning removes the oils along with the dirt. Without aftercare the leather dries out and cracks, and that is damage that cannot be repaired.
