How we do it
Chrome tolerates a mild limescale product, but brushed stainless steel we always follow along the grain and without acid, and coloured taps in gold, bronze or matt black get only water, a neutral soap and a soft cloth. A cement splash we soften instead of scraping it off. The aerator we unscrew and rinse, because sand from the first run of water often gets stuck there.
