Will the smell come out of second-hand chairs?
Usually it fades clearly or disappears, because we treat the fabric and the top layer of the filling. If an odour such as smoke sits very deep in the foam, some of it can linger. We tell you that upfront if your description makes us suspect it.
Should I have the chairs cleaned before I use them?
That is up to you, but it is the handiest moment. They are still separate and none of your own dirt has been added. With children or allergies at home, it gives extra peace of mind that everything is out.
What if the upholstery is really past saving?
Then we say so honestly, ideally right after seeing your video. Cleaning does not make worn or torn fabric whole. In that case an upholsterer is the better choice, and you do not pay us for a treatment that achieves little.
