Can the fabric product damage the faux leather?
With most combinations not directly, but a fabric cleaner often leaves a dull haze or streaks on faux leather. That is why we shield the border and wipe the smooth part with a product of its own.
Why is there so much dirt in the seam between the two materials?
Because a small ridge forms there where crumbs and dust get caught, and that ridge is often skipped in a normal wipe. We vacuum it first and then clean it with a narrow brush.
Is the seat of my chair faux leather or real leather?
Sometimes you can tell from the back of the upholstery or the label. Real leather has an irregular grain and smells of leather, faux leather looks more uniform. If in doubt, show it close up in your video and we will judge.
